Eyelash Extensions

Silk eyelash extensions are applied to one natural lash at a time. These lashes are available in a variety of thicknesses and lengths and is an ideal lash type for someone with plenty of natural lashes that wants more length or more curl to their lash. 

Hybrid lash extensions are a mixture of Silk Individual Lashes and Volume lashes. This lash service is ideal for those who have medium to full natural lashes with some gaps or sparse areas.  Hybrid eyelash extensions will add more length to the natural lashes and fill out any gaps with the volume (3D, 4D or 5D) lashes. Hybrid lash extensions are ideal for those who still want a fairly natural look, with slightly longer and more even lashes.

Volume lash extensions provide a look halfway between the classic set of individually applied lash extensions and the Russian volume set resulting in a more natural look because it is less uniformed like natural lashes. This service uses fine multiple lashes, in a fan of 3-5 lashes applied to your natural lash.  It gives a fuller, fluffy set of lashes that can be designed from natural to quite full depending on the volume of lash used.

Russian eyelash extensions is a specialised technique where two or more lashes are attached to one natural lash. Lashes applied are ultra-fine and feather-light allowing several lashes to be applied to the one lash, providing the most voluminous look possible. Russian extensions are completely customised to your lash look, as each individual fan of lashes is hand-made by your lash artist to give you both complete control over your final look.

This new lash system uses a special eyelash glue that is cured quickly and gently by LED light.  It does not use air-drying like ordinary eyelash glue.

Benefits of LED light cured glue:

• You can shower or swim directly after having a lash service.
• LED Light cured glue is oil, chlorine and salt water-resistant.
• LED Light cured glue is 100% dry when cured.
• The glue is completely transparent.
• Significantly less irritation
• Less eyelash loss due to super adhesive power

• Longer full-looking eyelash extensions

Please arrive at your appointment without eye make-up on.

Remove contact lenses.

Avoid caffeinated beverages before your appointment as this can make it difficult for your therapist to do their job. Take the opportunity to relax during the treatment and be pampered.

Tell your therapist if you have any eye infections or irritations.

Avoid wetting, heating, steaming or makeup on lashes for 24hrs post treatment. Wash your face carefully around the eyes without wetting and avoid swimming or hot steamy showers.

Be gentle with your eyes/lashes, do not rub, pick or pull at your extensions.

Keep your lashes neat and tidy by gently brushing them with a disposable mascara wand in the mornings.

Use the coating sealant recommended by your Therapist for longer lasting results.

Do not apply waterproof mascara to your eyelash extensions.

Do not tint or perm (lash lift) your eyelash extensions.

Ensure all make up, makeup removers, cleansers and serums applied to the eye area are oil-free.

Schedule a maintenance/refill every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes looking gorgeous.

Eyelash extensions have the potential to last up to 4-6 weeks with proper maintenance and aftercare in line with the natural eyelash shedding cycle. However, as we generally loose 3-5 natural lashes per eye per day we recommend infills to replenish lost lashes every 2-3 weeks to keep your eyelash extensions looking thick and full.

Allow a little over an hour for a full set of Silk or Hybrid lashes while refills take 40mins-50mins depending on how long it has been since your last appointment. For a full set of Russian eyelash extensions, treatment times vary from 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the look you are seeking.
