The Advanced Skin Resurfacing Facial offers a deep exfoliation by combining the powerful clearing and regenerating treatments of Hydra-Microdermabrasion with a Chemical Peel. Starting off with a Hydra-Microdermabrasion dead skin cells will be gently removed. The physical exfoliation will be followed by a chemical exfoliation to stimulate production of new skin cells and regenerate the skin. Your skin will then be treated to a nourishing peptide infused dermal face lift mask to penetrate and reduce visible signs of ageing.

A Jessner peel is a medium depth chemical peel that targets and removes the superficial layers of the skin. This clinical treatment is designed to target acne, sun damage, pigmentation, aged skin as well as different stages of cystic acne. Formulated with a 3-component solution of Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Resorcinol. A skin consultation is recommended prior to your appointment to both prepare your skin and clarify any queries you may have about this treatment.

Following a consultation with your therapist to understand your skin goals, your advanced facial will be prescribed and customised to your concerns and skin condition and will include one of the following peel options followed by an alginate facial mask.

Pomegranate Enzyme Peel - An ideal entry level peel this gentle yet effective enzyme peel is great for congested skin helping to lift and digest redundant skin cells whilst offering hydration to help repair and reduce inflammation.

Pumpkin Enzyme & Fruit Acid Peel – Targeting sun damaged and age correction, this formulation aids the skin’s cellular renewal process to reveal smooth skin whilst restoring the natural barrier function.

Oxygenating Enzyme Peel – Suitable for all skin types, this enzyme peel is formulated with high levels of natural fruit acids infused with oxygenating super peptides. This treatment increases the skin renewal process and desquamation whilst helping to hydrate and plump.

Bio-White Peptide Peel – Targeting pigmented or uneven skin tone, this high strength Vitamin C and Peptide peel delivers optimal whitening and lightening effects on the skin.

Catalyst Retinol Peel – The perfect anti-ageing peel to repair and correct, formulated with concentrated levels of pure Retinol, Niacinamide and natural Fruit Acids working to counteract skin ageing and improve the appearance of UV damage. Refining and resurfacing the skin and reducing inflammation in all skin types including weakened skin.

Alpha Beta Peel - A Salicylic based peel which melts oils providing a deep clean of congested skin that helps cool and soothe inflamed or acneic skins. Ideal for targeting blackheads this active treatment may lead to the skin shedding a little around a week post treatment and will require a stepped approach to ensure the skin is suitably prepared.

Acnelan - acne solution by mesoestetic is for the treatment of acne-prone and seborrhoeic skin.

Acne is a skin condition that causes a disorder in the activity of pilosebaceous follicles ('pores').  In normal conditions, sebaceous glands produce oil, which has the main function of lubricating and protecting the skin surface.  In the case of acne, these glands produce more oil than normal, causing obstruction of the follicle due to accumulation of oil and dead cells.  Also, proliferation of bacterial with subsequent infection and inflammation.

Depending on your treatment program, designed by your acnelan skin specialist, you may require additional products, or different treatment timing, which may result in you needing to top up your skin care products contained in your starter kit.  This will be discussed with you in your initial skin consultation prior to your treatments commencing.

Avoid excessive sun exposure prior to your treatment.

Time your facial waxing appointments separately and avoid facial waxing 2 days prior to your peel.

Advise your therapist if you are pregnant. While most solutions are suitable during pregnancy it is important that this is considered in your tailored prescription.

Limit sun exposure and ensure you are wearing a SPF 30+ at minimum post treatment.

Avoid exercise and excessive heat such as saunas and hot showers for 24 hrs post peel.

Do not exfoliate, or use retinol or AHA products for at least 3 days post treatment to avoid irritation.
